cooliris
I found this awesome browser plug-in called cooliris that lets you view your photos on an infinite 3-D wall and post it to your blog or other site. You can also view the photos on your computer, thus eliminating the need to click from page to page! Genius. And looks attractive too! See mine below.

getting creative
It was far too cold to go out this weekend so today I sat around and logged a little arts & crafts time, sans glue and pipe cleaners, but still a lot of fun. The collage below is a result of getting creative with Google's Picasa collage maker and Photoshop. There are some pretty amazing (and free!) photo editing tools online. Read about 18 of them in 18 Incredible Ways to Create a Digital Photo Collage.

Outside In
Photographs and text by Stephen Gill
"The photographs in this series were made in Brighton and Hove during 2010. They feature objects and creatures that I scooped up from the local surroundings and introduced to the body of my camera..."
The series Outside In was commissioned for the Brighton Photo Biennial 2010 by Martin Parr.

happy places.
Wild Horses
Photographer: Leigh Bramblett via Pictory: Just Like Heaven
"We stopped for a snack break while searching for the famous herd of wild ponies in Grayson Highlands Park, Virg. This stallion joined us, creating a magical moment with the animal and in a place I love most."

"Our happiest places, through the camera's lens and the mind's eye."
I came across this gallery at Pictory tonight after a somewhat chaotic day at the office. I am exhausted.
It is much easier to remember our happy places when we're in them. I have a few....Mexico. Bed (always bed!). A good friend's house on Sunday movie night. Niagara-on-the-Lake in the Spring, with its beautiful gardens and fudge shops. A pumpkin farm in Fall (can still smell the leaves on a nasty Winter night). And of course, that great little parkway in Thorold...

"Happiness is not in our circumstance but in ourselves. It is not something we see, like a rainbow, or feel, like the heat of a fire. Happiness is something we are."

"Think of all the beauty that's still left in and around you and be happy!"
